Scott Cervine (Prescott) started out as a wildly successful magician using humor to win over audiences. He continues spinning magic and humor in the many films he has directed, including People Vs. The State of Illusion, The Shadow Effect, Keeper of The Keys, The Gift and many others. His films can be found at Movies From The Heart. Scott handled all of the "magic" in the film, and edited as well.

Colin Cunningham(Sam) currently stars as John Pope in the series “Falling Skies” produced by Steven Spielberg./Dreamworks. Colin can also be seen recurring on the CBS series “Flashpoint” and has been a series lead on the shows “The Collector”, on the critically acclaimed series “Da Vinci’s Inquest”, and the comedy series “Living in Your Car” for HBO Canada. On film, Cunningham has been pursed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Sixth Day and put his life on the line for Jennifer Garner in Elektra. He has also appeared in multiple indie favorites, including comedic turns in Best in Show and Breakfast With Scott. Colin is also an accomplished director, and was very helpful in the making of Matter of Magic, sharing his extensive knowledge and experience.

Markus Flanagan (Jim) got his start alongside Matthew Broderick  in Biloxi Blues, and has gone on to roles in many films, TV series and sitcoms including "Friends", "Seinfeld", "Will & Grace", "Unfabulous", "Judging Amy" and "That 70's Show". Flanagan has written five plays and is the founder of the L.A. Café Plays series in Santa Monica. He is also the author of One Less Bitter Actor, a guide for those trying to make it in show business.
